I bought this and was really looking forward to it. It's pretty cool for 5 minutes, but is actually really disappointing.
Basically someone just set a camera OUTSIDE an aquarium and filmed it. Because the camera was outside the aquarium the fish never really come out of the screen cause they can't get close enough to the lens to really maximize the effect.
What's worse is when they were filming it they basically just picked one spot in the center of the aquarium and focused on that. So when the fish do come to the edge of the tank getting what little 3D "in your face" effect you would normally get, the fish are out of focus and it kills the effect.
It is very pretty, with lots of fish and the 3D background depth is pretty good. I'll call it a near miss, but honestly, it could be sooooo much better.

The quality is up there with Imax visuals, very realistic when in 3d. I have a vizio passive 47 inch tv that I am using to view content, I cant believe how much I've used this in the last 2 days, very relaxing, wish it had Jellyfish, No complaints though, its to beautiful to get board with this 3d Blu-ray anytime soon.Best Deals for 3D Aquarium (2011)
I just got this 3D Aquarium disc today. There are 70 min of awesome 3D in this video. This disc will be my new demo disc when friends come over. The picture is so clear. The disc looks great in 2D also, if you want to leave it running. My new fish tank.Honest reviews on 3D Aquarium (2011)
This item is definitely for those who like to spend their time simply gazing into an aquarium. Anyone else might be bored to tears after 15 minutes (or less). It's kind of a Zen thing. The 3D effect makes your TV look absolutely like a real aquarium (I recommend the "natural" sound track), and you shouldn't expect to see the fish floating out in space toward you because they don't do that in a real aquarium do they?
I dig the little diver holding the treasure chest lid.
Wait for it Wait... for... it... his little hand trembles... up goes the lid!
Zen!

This is obviously filmed on the outside of aquarium, so the 3D I saw was the depth behind from the glass. The pictures are sharp (99% of the time). Music goes along with the flow.A LG HDTV passive 3D demo I've seen in a local electronic store showed fish sticking way out of the screen toward me. I would consider that worth demonstrating over this. But regardless for the price it's a good to collect if you are hungry to collect 3D titles.
