We bought this thinking it was filmed in high-dev, it's NOT. They tried to upscale it somehow, but if you've seen anything filmed in true high-dev, you will be disappointed. We thought it would be a reef or filmed in the ocean, but it's just various tanks. It's very unimaginative, we could have gone to a local aquarium supply store and shot a video of a tank!Wait for a true high-dev aquarium product, this one is not worth it and now we are stuck keeping it since we opened the package and tried it.

I was excited when I first saw this as I am a big fan of salt water tanks.. But like many I cannot afford to have one as they cost a small fortune. So, When I saw this I jumped at the chance to get it. It offers a few different tanks to watch the only problem is that they are only about 5-6 minutes long. I would have hoped for 30 or more minutes looping 5 minutes gets repetitive seeing how it has to reload. There are 3 ways to view most of the tanks... Full (the full tank is in the frame) zoomed (it follows the fish....) or edited... The aquariums look very good in full mode. I have a 1080p tv so they almost look real.
Some Of the tanks look new and, I believe they were set up just for this as they have no corraline and no where near enough snails/crabs to keep the growth down. Also, the predator tank that they have is very cramped. People who have owned tanks before will understand that the tank pictured looks good but, wouldn't last but a few weeks before it crashed.
Overall I would still prob buy it again because i like marine tanks so much. Its just too bad that they did not do a better job.

It's 1080p. Obviously the video quality is great. But they could have been a little more creative about making it. When I purchased it I kind of hoped that it would be combination of many different massive tanks with hundreds of verities of fishes. Instead the whole video only focuses in only five home size tanks. The tanks are small enough to allow the camera to capture the whole tank into one shot. Of-course you have the option to let the camera focus on different exotic fishes that it is housing. Considering the size of the tank it's obvious that the number is not too many. The boring black back ground of the tank makes it even duller. The whole video serves as a screen saver. It's not like a movie or a documentary that you would want to sit and watch. It would be like staring into a fish tank for the whole time. Then again the purpose of the video is to turn your TV to a virtual fish tank, and so it does. The video serves the purpose in that manner. With the music in the background it really is not that soothing as I expected. Nor does it do a great job of showing of your television's picture quality. You can better show off and impress people more with one of natural geographies landscape or underwater documentary, or even a good special effect movie. In my opinion considering the price I paid for it. It's really not worth it.
