This movie is NOT for anyone looking for cute little twinks who enjoy shopping and saucy zingers. This is a sendup of the 'giallo' horror films of the 1970s. Its dark and gritty and grubby and looks like a scratched up print. But it was also shot all digitally (so all of that was added to the picture on purpose to mimic the old movies). It's actually a very funny satire of homoerotic fighting sports with a lot of fantastic imagery, but it's also VERY true to the genre its imitating. Giallos were very fractured, full of plot holes centered around iconic images, they always SEEMED pulpier and trashier than they really were and they were more about ideas and mood than actual plot. If you are a fan of the genre, you'll LOVE seeing it gayed up for the internet age. If you want things lit like TV shows where ripped guys have sex, just rent a porno. This sin't the BEST movie, but it is a very GOOD movie. But there are plenty of valid reasons to dislike it, but the ones here are all pretty ignorant in the sense they're missing the whole point of the movie.

Do not waste your time. It looked like someone's college film project. I kept waiting for something to happen. But it never delivered.

This was the first ever gay feature in 3D. It was also shot using consumer gear when the director was homeless. The final movie isn't perfect, but its AMAZINGLY good given the resources. Its also more a drama than an action film, and a lot more about mood and tone than splashy effects (even thought he visuals are great). The only people I know who didnt like the movie should stick to things with Transformers in them. But if you actually care what goes in your eye and ear holes and can make ANY use of it, you should check this little movie out. It's nice to see a gay film that's not about skinny twinks who love shopping and being fabulous (and stupid).
