Sonjay Dutt & Jay Lethal vs. Triple X (Daniels & Senshi) vs. Motor City Machine Guns One thing you can't deny, TNA knows how to kick their PPV's off in style. Great match that had plenty of time & had various multiman spots like the back to back to back moonsaults/dives/pescados on the floor to the opponetts including one where Alex Shelley had Sonjay Dutt in an abdominal stretch on the floor and Jay Lethal hit a suicide dive over Dutt to hit Shelley. Just what you expect from the in ring action of the X divsion with Elix Skipper getting involved as well.

Kaz vs. Raven This was just a short match that did it's purpose in establishing Kaz as his own star but the match itself wasn't much to the point where people started a "boring" in the opening minutes...which is sad knowing what Raven is capable of.

Barroom Brawl: Rhino vs. James Storm This was basically a weapons match as there were trash cans, bar stools, and even a toilet (no joke) getting involved in this aggressive brawl. They fought all over the Impact Zone with the story of Rhino "falling off the wagon" coming into play during the closing moments of the match. Entertaining encounter.

VKM vs. LAX This was really just here to put over the ongoing story between Hector Guerrero & LAX with Hector helping LAX not get cheated out of the win. Besides that, the match was short with nothing really standing out except for Kip James looking like he stole Torrie Wilson's tights.

Humiliation Match: Eric Young vs. Robert Roode This was just an average encounter with some comedic spots involving Ms. Brooks such as the headbutt into Roode's groin & she getting a fireman's carry by Young. The ending with Gail Kim getting involved with Traci being tar & feathered at the end was more entertaining the match itself.

Chris Harris vs. Black Reign The debut of the darker & more evil Goldust. This match went just around 5 mins. with it's purpose of putting over how psycho the other "personality" of Dustin Rhodes was as he kept taking out officials from the start of the match.

Steiner Brothers vs. Team 3D This match didn't live up to the months worth of "dream match" hype it was given as the crowd as dead for the most part. The match itself had it's moments such as Scott giving the Frankensteiner from the top rope but overall, just another average encounter.

Right around here was when Pacman Jones had an interview segment that wasn't anything special based on Pacman's mic skills until Ron Killings came out & addressed the whole "can't be touched" clause in his TNA contact & threatened Pacman leading to him getting beatdown (off camera) & taken away in to the hospital later in the night.

Doomsday Chamber Of Blood Match: Sting, Abyss, Andrew Martin (aka Test) vs. Christian Cage, AJ Styles, Tomko This was a barbed wire steel cage match where you had to pin a member of the opposition, who is bleeding, to win the match. This was a huge bloody multiman brawl between all six men with weapons such as chairs & broken glass being used towards the end. With the win, Abyss gets the title shot at the next PPV as well.

As a side note rant: This was the only match Test had in TNA as he showed up on TV two weeks earlier & then throw into a main event match on a PPV only to disappear right afterwards. See why some of the loyal TNA talent get disgruntled because of their lack of TV time?

Winner Takes All Match: TNA & "IWGP" Champion Kurt Angle vs. TNA X Division & Tag Team Champion Samoa Joe The story thoughout the whole match was Karen Angle & her new man (who was Trademarc, John Cena's cousin & the other guy off the "You Can't See Me" album) being a distraction for Angle thoughout the match...even during the entrance where he dropped one of his titles & looked like a defeated man. Joe & Angle delievered the match of the match night as they must put on wrestling clinics in the ring with this time having some comedic spots like Joe pulling down Angle's trunks. Again, match of the night (but the weakest out of off their TNA matches) here with an ending that resulted in Karen Angle becoming a full time character in TNA.

Overall, this had alot of short matches were just there to put over a storyline (Reign/Harris, VKM/LAX) or were just average encounters that weren't very memorable. The standout matches here were the Doomsday Cage, the opening X division match, Barroom Brawl, and the main event. This was an overall enjoyable event from TNA this year that I would recommend for a viewing.

Jay lethal/dutt defeats Triple X and Motor City Machine Guns.

A good way to start off the show... though a little to hectic and spotty for my liking. I must admit though, I got into this match and was pretty amazed at some of the cool moves they did. Someone needs to show these guys how to sell a move better though. Very good start. Match Rating: 8/10

Kaz defeats Raven.

Before the match starts, raven offers Kaz a spot back in serintonin while the crowd chants your washed up at raven. Somewhat better then I expected... but really thats not saying much. Did its job of getting Kaz over as his own man nothing much more though.

Match Rating: 6/10

James Storm Defeats Rhino in a Barroom Brawl.

I never really cared for either man in the ring as I thought they both were over rated so I wasen't really anticipating this match much. This was your typical Rhino Hardcore match except with alcolhol and toilet seats and a blow up doll as a bartender? Bah I was not entertained nothing to much here. Match Rating: 4.5/10

LAX defeats VKM.

VKM (the formerly known new age outlaws) should have retired many years ago as they are now slow and boring and can not wrestle... This match prooved it as a very good LAX tag team and they could not even drag this lifeless match from the pit of crappiness. Hector Gurerro helps LAX win. Soul Punching isn't even the word. Match Rating: 3/10

Roode defeats Eric Young in an ultimate Humiliation match.

I hated this fued.. I like both guys but this fued was just the most ridiculous thing I have ever witnessed... AND IT LASTED ALMOST A YEAR!!! There match at slammiversery was a lot better then this average encounter. Nothing of much happened. Oh and the ultimate humiliation was being tarred and feathered... TNA can be really stupid at most times. Match Rating: 5/10.

Chris Harris defeats Blackdust via DQ.

Blackdust (black reign they called him here..sigh) Match starts.. Black Reign attacks reff, goes nuts on Harris and thats about it.. yep pretty much a waste of time AGAIN! Match Rating: 2/10

The Stiener Brothers defeats Team 3D.

Here was the surprise of the night. I was not expecting even a decent match from these two, but they pulled it off here. Of course, with the matches that just happened, this seems like Steamboat Savage compared to those matches. A pleasent Surprise indeed. Match Rating: 7/10

Abyss, Sting, and Andrew Martin (test) defeats Christian, Tomko, and AJ Styles in a chamber of blood match (corny mouch?)

Basically It was a cage match with Barbed wire around the top and the only way you could pin the opponent was to make them bleed first. Get that all? If not its ok, TNA doesen't get it either. Nothing to horrible here but nothing to go out of the way for. Match Rating: 6.5/10

Kurt angle defeats Samoa Joe and wins every Title in TNA.

Here was my match of the night, as these two always have good matches together. To me this was the 2nd best encounter by these two (turning point there best). Angle played the desperate heel that was about to lose everything (including his wife who was at ringside). A good way to end the show that wasen't very impressive. Match Rating: 9/10

So TNA Hard Justice gets a C which in my book is pretty average. The Mid card was pretty much terrible with one great match, 2 very good ones, and two other average matches. You don't need to pick this one up really.

Best Deals for Total Nonstop Action Wrestling Presents: Hard Justice 2007 (2007)

I recently bought this PPV for some reason, probably the Doomsday Chamber of Blood match. Many matches on this dvd are short and sloppy, and not the good kind.

Triple X VS The Motor City Machine Guns VS "Black Machismo" Jay Lethal & "The Guru" Sonjay Dutt: I like Daniel's better as Curry Man. Doesnt TNA always start a PPV with a X-division match? Best match on the card.

Kaz VS Raven: The story line was there; The match was beyond bad. The ending was pretty bad. A kick that doesnt even hit Raven and he is pinned? At least Raven can sell something.

Rhino VS James Storm: A typical Rhino hardcore match. Meaning, Rhino loses anther gimmick hardcore match. Does this guy ever win anymore? Anther match with a former TNA champion with nothing to do.

VKM VS LAX: A short, worthless match. One thing I can say, TNA wrestlers sure can sell a move that was botched.

Eric Young VS Robert Roode: I hate both wrestlers and hated this long, over drawn feud.

Chris "WWE Bound" Harris VS Black Reign: I like Regin's look. This match was pointless though, ending sucked. Harris is anther TNA star who has been around for awhile and has been pushed aside to make way for former WWE wrestlers. Harris is now WWE bound. Cant beat them, join'em.

Steiners VS Team 3-D: Decent match but both teams were not on there game.

Sting, Abyss, & "The One Hit Wonder" Andrew Martin VS Christian Cage, AJ Styles, & Tomko in Doomsday Chamber of Blood match. I had high hopes for this match. It had its moments but a match with 6 wrestlers is hard to follow. The only cage match ive seen where someone escapes the cage and does not win the match. It was decent but I hope they do this match again.

Kurt Angle VS Samoa Joe: This was a bad main event. Angle-Joe should deliver a five star match everytime they wrestle. The story of Karen leaving Kurt took away from this match. The final few minutes were good but generic. Lots of near falls, ref gets bumped, Karen turns on Joe and wham! Angle wins.

One of the worst PPV's ive seen in awhile. Like I said before most matches were short and sloppy. I thought the main event was generic. Its sad how TNA went from future of wrestling in 2005 to a clone of WCW circa 2000, just a few short years later. Well, I blame it on Kurt Angle. There are better TNA ppvs out there.
