This is definitely a Comic Book / Video Game type films. There are some fun sequences that are aimed at kids. Adults should find the visual effects interesting. Each is more of an amusement ride than a normal movie. These films are more like watching someone play video games.

Used to have the 2d versions of these that my neice and nephew used love to watch when they came over and since the price was right @ $14.99 for both movies in 3d I couldn't pass them up (buy mostly 3d movies nowadays). They may not be Oscar material but they are fun and even more so in 3d.
